- Native speaker of Norwegian.
- Native or near-native knowledge of English.
- University degree in translation or linguistics.
- 5+ years of experience in technical translation.
- Subject knowledge in any of the following areas: information technology, computer software and hardware, consumer electronics, security and video technology, equipment manufacturing, energy and chemical engineering, telecommunication, robotics.
- Familiar with translation style and practice in the following types: UI strings, user manuals, legal documents, marketing contents, IP documents, financial documents.
- Experienced in mainstream CAT tools or platforms, including SDL Trados Studio, memoQ, Déjà Vu, GlobalLink, Memsource, etc.
